Flamingo Everglades National Park Fishing Report: Snook, Redfish, Drum and More

South Florida Winter fishing is red hot, especially in Flamingo Everglades National Park. There are plenty of snook, redfish, trout, black drum, and sheep head around. This is the time of year where it’s not uncommon to catch several dozen fish a day.

Biscayne Bay has been good as well with mutton snapper in the finger channels and grouper and spanish mackeral in the mix.

The bonefishing has been consistant up and down Biscayne Bay, with some days being better than others.

The tarpon are staging in the inlets and bridges and on occasion I’ve been able to make it out there at first light and try to hook one up before bonefishing.

Now is a great time to fish, give me a call if your thinking coming down and booking a trip.
